Fromholz Selling 1951 D-28 Martin Guitar!
Welcome Y'all...
Now, here's a bit of interesting info for collectors of old/famous guitars. Steven is selling "Leonard" his 1951 Martin D-28 which he purchased from GTR in Nashville, Tennessee in -- and now get this -- 1971. Talk about some history? Leonard has been present for the writing of many Fromholz tunes and knows most of the highways in these United States. Leonard is staying with South Austin Music Store in Austin, Texas while awaiting a new owner. Call Billy or Sean for more information!
Now for a bit of book publishing news. . .
Steven and his sister, Angela "Sis" Blair have recently published their first book together "Look Dammit...That's Just Texas!" It's a collection of short stories (some fact and some fiction) by both authors and Steven's poetry and songs. We think you'll enjoy it! Release date is February 2, 2012!
The Bosque Collection Board of Directors and Bosque Collection Manager Ruth Crawford hosted the first Cd party introducing Steven Fromholz' new Cd "Texas Trilogy Goes to G'Nashville" on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the historical Bosque County Collection Building in Meridian, Texas. Steven's friends and family from all over Bosque County attended -- a wonderful group of folks -- and it's a truth -- a good time was had by all! Many, many thanks to the Bosque Collection and Ruth Crawford for such a wonderful launch party for the new Cd! Steven said he wanted to bring this Cd home first, we did, and it was wonderful!
Thank you Bosque County, Texas -- our home place!
(We'll have pictures taken at the party soon -- lots of folks!)
You are listening to "Hondo's Song" from Steven's new Cd, "Texas Trilogy Goes to G'Nashville" performed by Steven Fromholz and Willie Nelson.
